Course Focus:

 

01 — Mindset

Mindset will affect everything we do in life, including the type of surfer we are to become and how we interact with our environment. Your surfing journey is unique, here we discuss how to traverse it with self respect and create the right mental conditions to excel. Who do you want to be in the water?

02 — Moving through blocks and fears

As in all things in life, we will eventually come up against blocks or fears that can limit our forward momentum for a time. Together we can pin point these obstacles as they pertain to surfing and begin the process of letting go of anything that has previously held us back.

03 — Wave Science

Here we dive into wave anatomy, currents, tides, reading reports, and how to navigate new breaks. We will look at different examples, apps, and websites to help you gather as much info as possible before you paddle out.

04 — Physical preparedness

Diet and exercise can greatly affect our day to day performance and recovery in or out of the water. We will talk about ways to maximize our physical experience and create the potential for longevity so we can continue to do what we love for a long time.

A 30 min Private Coaching session is included in this course, in or out of the water, on surf and wellness topics of your choice.
